All Things Seuss: Exhibit 1 and 2: Famed children’s author Dr. Seuss would have been 115 on March 2. In honor of Dr. Seuss, the Coronado Public Library and the Cultural Arts Commission announce the opening of a new exhibition in two locations. “All Things Seuss” opens in March. “Exhibit 1” is at the Library from March 1 through May 20 and “Exhibit 2” opens in the C3 Gallery in the Coronado Community Center with a reception on March 6 in the Nautilus Room from 6 to 8 p.m. The C3 Gallery exhibition will run through August 15. The exhibits and reception are free and open to the public. The exhibits feature the private collection of local resident Louise Gens Wicarius. Thirty-seven pieces will be displayed for the first time in Coronado. The Library exhibition will include other Seuss memorabilia. This joint-exhibit offers a rare glimpse into a beloved American artist.
