Classic Movie Series – Breaking Away

The Coronado Island Film Festival presents another “Oldie but Goodie”

All movies start at 5 p.m. with introductions by festival staff and occasionally industry professionals including actors, directors, cinematographers, and others who provide an insiders look into the production of these classics.

Purchase tickets at Village Theatre Box Office during box office hours.

Art In The Park

1st and 3rd Sundays of every month, year round.
Spreckels Park in Coronado Village | 9:00am – 4:00pm

Art-In-The-Park features more than fifty top artists in every genre including oil, acrylic and watercolor painting,etching, photography, wood and metal working, stained glass, ceramics and a variety of other unusual and distinctive art forms.

The artists whose work is on display reside throughout San Diego County. They have been selected by a five person jurying process to insure consistent professional quality and originality. Many are represented in galleries and specialty shops throughout the San Diego area. Some have their own gallery/studios.

Participating artists show their work with us to enjoy the direct interaction with the art buying public. The artists must show their own work, so you are assured of the opportunity to converse with the actual creator of any art piece on display.

Library Summer Festival – History of the Blues in America

History of the Blues in America

Acclaimed guitarist Joey Leone and his band will take you on a journey from pre-war Delta blues up Highway 61 to St. Louis and Chicago, west on Rt. 66 to California and down to Louisiana with anecdotes from his time on stage with blues legends.
