Art-In-The-Park features more than fifty top artists in every genre including oil, acrylic and watercolor painting,etching, photography, wood and metal working, stained glass, ceramics and a variety of other unusual and distinctive art forms.
The artists whose work is on display reside throughout San Diego County. They have been selected by a five person jurying process to insure consistent professional quality and originality. Many are represented in galleries and specialty shops throughout the San Diego area. Some have their own gallery/studios.
Participating artists show their work with us to enjoy the direct interaction with the art buying public. The artists must show their own work, so you are assured of the opportunity to converse with the actual creator of any art piece on display.

City Council Meeting
| City Council Meetings: Regular City Council meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 4 p.m. in the Council Chamber at the south end of City Hall. The regular meetings are broadcast live on Spectrum (Time Warner) Channel 19 on the day of the meeting and rebroadcast daily until the next meeting. The meetings are also now available as live and archived webstreams.

History of the Blues in America
Acclaimed guitarist Joey Leone and his band will take you on a journey from pre-war Delta blues up Highway 61 to St. Louis and Chicago, west on Rt. 66 to California and down to Louisiana with anecdotes from his time on stage with blues legends.
